TV Beatles at the Cavern depicts The Beatles as they were in the original 1964 Saturday morning television show which Ron Campbell directed in Australia – but the Beatles are here playing in a cartoon version of the Cavern, the Liverpool hot spot they played in their early career.
It’s a fun, colorful piece, guitars and amps all depicted in cartoon versions of the real equipment. The only thing missing is the left-over scraps of food and soft drink cups that often littered the stage floor – remains of between sets snacks.
Estate Editions: On January 22, 2021, Ron Campbell passed away after a short illness. His family decided that they still wanted to share his art with his fans. Therefore, the Estate Editions were created. His signature is silk-screened on the prints and the editions sizes are limited to 195.
