Built to Last by Jamie Jensen: Formed in the San Francisco area in 1965, the Grateful Dead created an eclectic style of music that incorporated rock, bluegrass, jazz and country. They are best known for their long jams and drum solos. Their fans, the Deadheads, followed them religiously from town to town creating an extended family of devotees.

This book pays homage to the band “Grateful Dead” and the fans who support them from 1965-1990. It gives a brief history of the band, their fans – the “Deadheads” – and of the group’s live tours – looking at 10 landmark concerts, including Moscow.
