America “Toons” In, Ron Campbell (Estate Edition)

If you were young and alive in 1964, you know what this piece is all about. At 8 o’clock on February 9th 1964, America tuned in to CBS and The Ed Sullivan Show.  The show garnered a 43.7 rating and an 82.6 % share of all the TV’s turned on at the time. That translated to 73 million people gathered in front their TV sets to see The Beatles’ first live performance on U.S. soil.

Estate Editions: On January 22, 2021, Ron Campbell passed away after a short illness. His family decided that they still wanted to share his art with his fans. Therefore, the Estate Editions were created.  His signature is silk-screened on the prints and the editions sizes are limited to 195.
